1. About This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KyuPlay handles information submitted through the KyuPlay website and information that may become visible during customer-support or remote-assistance sessions.

KyuPlay aims to collect and use only information reasonably needed to operate the website, prevent abuse, respond to customers, maintain website administration, and provide requested support.

2. Information the Website Collects

When a visitor submits feedback, the website may collect:

• the selected feedback category;
• the feedback message;
• an email address if the visitor chooses to provide one.

Providing an email address through the feedback form is optional and is used only when follow-up is useful or requested.

3. Abuse Prevention and Request Metadata

The feedback endpoint may use limited request metadata to prevent spam, abuse, and excessive submissions.

A requester identifier may be cryptographically hashed with a server-only secret before rate-limit information is stored. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the website feedback tables.

If Cloudflare Turnstile is configured, Cloudflare processes the verification needed to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse.

4. Website Administration and Storage

Administrator identities, authentication sessions, and time-based one-time-password factors are managed through Supabase Auth.

Feedback and website configuration are stored in the website's Supabase project. Row-level security and explicit administrator authorization are used to restrict access.

Public visitors cannot list feedback submissions.

Website administration is separate from KyuPlay Desktop venue records and KyuPlay licensing systems.

5. How Information Is Used

KyuPlay may use submitted information to:

• review product feedback;
• respond when follow-up information is provided;
• prevent abuse or spam;
• maintain website administration;
• investigate website problems;
• provide requested customer support.

KyuPlay does not use feedback or optional contact information for unrelated advertising resale.

6. Remote Support and Customer Consent

KyuPlay may offer remote-desktop assistance for installation, setup, configuration, activation, or troubleshooting only when the customer explicitly agrees.

During a remote-support session, information visible on the customer's screen may also be visible to the support person.

Remote access is limited to the support task requested by the customer. KyuPlay does not intentionally access, copy, inspect, retain, or transfer unrelated personal or business files.

Customers should close sensitive documents, communications, financial information, password managers, and other private applications before a remote-support session whenever practical.

Customers should enter passwords and private credentials themselves whenever practical.

Remote access should end when the requested support work is complete. Persistent or unattended remote access should not be installed without separate explicit customer authorization.

7. Service Providers and Third Parties

KyuPlay may rely on third-party services for website hosting, web analytics, authentication, abuse prevention, payment processing, communications, or remote support.

Examples may include Vercel (including Vercel Analytics for aggregate site performance and traffic metrics), Supabase, Cloudflare Turnstile, payment providers, and remote-desktop applications.

Those services may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. KyuPlay does not claim control over independent third-party systems.

8. Data Security, Access, and Retention

KyuPlay uses reasonable technical and administrative measures appropriate to the website to limit unauthorized access to stored information.

Access to administrative data is restricted to authorized website administrators.

Information is retained only as reasonably needed for website operation, feedback review, abuse prevention, support, recordkeeping, or other legitimate operational purposes, subject to technical and legal requirements.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. No Sale of Personal Information or Advertising Tracking

KyuPlay does not sell feedback submissions or optional contact information.

The KyuPlay website does not intentionally install advertising trackers for the purpose of selling visitor data to advertisers.
